Temptation Cancun - new name for Blue Bay Getaway

I’ve known via the grapevine for a little while but today I noticed that on the official Blue Bay website that they have a banner running announcing their new name “Temptation” Cancun which will take effect in December 2007.

I find the choice of name a little strange as it seems that the hotel have been trying to lose their “swingers hotel” label for some years now, and I’m not sure the new name Temptation will help with this. That said they do have a new General Manager and maybe the name change reflects a future change in direction. I certainly hope not but suppose we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
